Claim

Mechanism

Bulk LLM theming regresses to the mean and surfaces what is frequent rather than what is decisive. Stratifying preserves the won-vs-lost contrast — the only signal that names differentiation. Limiting to recent calls keeps the pattern current. Humans hold pattern recognition because a frequency-based system collapses signal across these axes.

Conditions

Holds when: there are enough recent won/lost calls to stratify (~20 each), and a human reviewer who knows the deal context.

Fails when: the call corpus is too sparse, or the human reviewer doesn't know the deals well enough to weight signals.
